1. Use of PetShift
PetShift is a mobile-first coordination tool for pet-friendly Workspaces. By creating an account, using the app, accepting an invite, or participating in a workspace, you agree to these terms and applicable law. PetShift helps members coordinate visits, requests, approvals, and notifications; it does not replace your employer's organization rules or pet policies.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the information you provide, the activity that happens through your account, and keeping your login credentials secure. Verification steps, including email verification, help protect workspaces and may be required before you can use some features. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Workspaces
Workspaces are shared environments created and managed in the PetShift app. Workspace owners and administrators control invites, membership, scheduling rules, pet participation, and approvals. Your access to a workspace depends on valid membership, the workspace's own rules, and compliance with these terms.
4. User content
Members may submit content such as visit notes, pet care details, pet photos, profile information, and messages needed to coordinate visits. You keep your rights in that content, but give PetShift permission to host, process, display, and transmit it as needed to provide the service. Do not upload content that is unlawful, malicious, invasive of someone else's privacy, or confidential unless you have permission to share it.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use PetShift to harass others, impersonate someone, send spam, scrape or extract data outside permitted app functionality, bypass security controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or interfere with another member's workspace. We may investigate and restrict, suspend, or remove access when needed to protect members, workspaces, or the platform.
6. Service changes and availability
We work to keep PetShift reliable, but the service may be unavailable at times because of maintenance, connectivity, integrations, security events, or circumstances outside our control. We may update, add, or remove features as the product evolves. When changes materially affect your use of PetShift, we may communicate them in the app, by email, or through this site.
7. Disclaimers and limitations
PetShift is provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for organization decisions, pet behavior, employment matters, or actions taken by workspace members. We do not limit liability where the law does not allow it.
8. Termination
You may stop using PetShift anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to other members or data safety. Provisions intended to survive (such as limits on misuse, disclaimers where allowed, or dispute handling) survive termination.
