Privacy Policy

This page explains how PetShift collects, uses, and protects information about you, your Workspace, and the pets in your care.

1. Information we collect

PetShift collects information needed to provide pet-friendly Workspace coordination. This can include account and contact details, profile information, pet details, Workspace membership, invites, visit schedules, approval activity, support messages, Workspace and direct chat messages, safety reports, device and notification identifiers, and limited diagnostics such as logs, app version, and device type. We limit collection to information that is useful for operating, securing, and improving the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide PetShift's Workspace coordination experience: verifying accounts, coordinating visits and approvals among members, sending operational notifications, maintaining security, improving reliability, responding to support requests, and communicating about the service. This website supports marketing, downloads, account handoff, and legal or support information; Workspace management happens in the PetShift app.

3. Notifications

Push and email notifications deliver timely updates relevant to your Workspace, such as visit requests or reminders. Members can adjust notification preferences in the mobile app where offered. Operational messages tied to verification or invites may still be necessary for account safety and service delivery.

4. Sharing and Workspace visibility

Information you add to a Workspace may be visible to other members, owners, or administrators depending on their role and the feature being used. We may share information with service providers that help us operate PetShift, such as hosting, authentication, email, push notifications, analytics, and support tools. OneSignal processes device identifiers and direct-message notification content when push alerts are enabled. Message previews can be hidden in notification settings. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain information while your account or Workspace membership is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You can delete your account in the PetShift app or use the account deletion request page for access, correction, or deletion help. Some records may remain where required for security, backups, audit logs, legal compliance, or legitimate Workspace administration. Chat messages are automatically deleted after one year. Messages retained after account deletion are anonymized as coming from a deleted user. Reported-message evidence and moderation actions may be retained separately for safety, abuse prevention, legal escalation, and audit purposes. Authorized PetShift safety staff can access reported content and limited surrounding conversation context; Workspace administrators cannot review private direct-message reports.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information in PetShift. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password, keep your device protected, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Contact

For privacy-related requests or questions email admin@stankovsolutions.com. We'll coordinate with Workspace owners where needed so the appropriate administrators can fulfill access or deletion requests.
